CDC Habitat Social is engaged in a large energy rehabilitation program whose objective is to reduce the energy poverty of households occupying the housing of its social residences. To this end, the Didot and Bardinet residences are the subject of an ambitious work programme to achieve this objective and to improve the comfort of its tenants. The work programme established by CDC Habitat Social is structured around three main axes: — Energy works with facade insulation (ITE), roof insulation, replacement of joinery (double glazing) and installation of roller shutters, replacement of ventilation, renovation of the substation and replacement of radiators with thermostatic valves in the dwellings. — Accessibility works with the general improvement of accessibility within private areas and the restructuring of an entrance to give full access to the building. — Improvement works with the complete renovation of the common areas and the residentisation of the residence with the treatment of the heart of the island and its surroundings
