The operation consists of the restructuring of Building C of the Lycée Pothier in Orléans (45), corresponding to the third phase of work in the new master plan of the institution. This building dates from the 1960s and is R+ 3 level. The Regional Council of the Centre wanted to integrate a sustainable development approach in order to obtain a building efficient in terms of energy efficiency, but also respectful of the environment and to guarantee a good comfort and a quality of life adapted for the internals and the staff involved in the building. This approach, now desired by the Regional Council of the Centre on all its new constructions, has been formalised since 2012 by the implementation of a Sustainable Construction Contract on all new projects in the Region.
