The project mainly targets an energy performance operation on the D “Descartes” and E “Curie” external buildings as well as the complete restructuring of the E “Curie” building. The objective of the operation is to reach the BBC reno level (cref-40 %) for the two buildings and to implement biosourced materials. The perimeter of the ERDF project retains only the E Curie building that reaches BBC Renovation level while the Descartes building does not reach it. The project responds to regional challenges in terms of management of built heritage and research of environmental and energetic quality (energy performance and implementation of biosourced materials). It will make visible this type of exemplary rehabilitation, through actions carried out with students and partnerships carried out.
