The Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024 represent an important sporting moment for which exemplary preparation can serve as a model of solidarity and local commitment in terms of employment and vocational training for the future. Taking advantage of this event as an accelerator of innovative projects, the Plaine Commune intends to support 230 beneficiaries away from employment towards a career path in line with the sectors of activity most mobilised by the Olympic Games. The project "2024: all champions, all champions" takes place from 01/09/2019 to 30/06/2022 and aims to be innovative thanks to the experimentation of approaches in terms of remobilisation, accompaniment, development and valorisation of the skills of the beneficiaries. This project led by the Plaine Commune is part of a consortium organised with the GIP Maison de l’Emploi du territoire de Plaine Commune, the City of Paris, the PLIE de Plaine Commune and the EPEC that have partnered to respond to the call for projects “100 % inclusion the factory of remobilisation” in order to offer training organised around sport and its values. Finally, this project will enable the professionalisation of people furthest from employment and help their integration into the labour market in a sustainable way.
