The operation consists of building a new high school in Hanches (28) in the form of a Global Performance Market. This multi-purpose high school will host approximately 1,200 students in three courses: General, technological and professional, and post-Bachelor’s education. The construction project is part of a strong environmental approach, revealing the commitment of the Centre Val de Loire region to develop healthy and comfortable teaching spaces for users, energy efficient while optimising subsequent maintenance and maintenance operations. The target energy-climate performance target is that of the E3C2 of the BEPOS Effinergie 2017 benchmark, with the use of renewable energies (installation of photovoltaic panels, geothermal installation). The operation of the new high school in Hanches will also be a tool for raising awareness and information among different audiences (general public, residents, high school students and future users, local associations, local companies in the building sector...), and thus can contribute to the evolution of practices around new techniques and eco-gestures of energy efficiency.
