Support and guide for the implementation of a business continuity approach

The operation carried out by the EPTB Seine Grands Lacs aims to carry out targeted continuity plans, for services or directorates of local authorities and private actors for public service purposes, to capitalise on project methodologies, to implement and to draw up feedback and to encourage local authorities and private actors with a public service vocation to carry out their business continuity plans. These Business Continuity Plans aim to maintain activities deemed critical for a structure regardless of the hazards it may face, such as a flood, and enable different objectives to be met: — Maintenance of critical activities, – Easy to resume operations following a crisis, – Ensure continuity of services for residents and customers. Continuity approaches are an important part of the process of acculturation and consideration of risk. The objective pursued by the EPTB for this action is to encourage different public and private public service actors to implement business continuity plans. The expected results are to multiply the number of public and private actors who will carry out these steps.
