Stamtish aims to facilitate the creation of links and the professional integration of people from migration and away from employment through the development of a solidarity network around the plate. Indeed, this solidarity network aims to connect them with local and eco-responsible partners (restaurateurs, producers and winegrowers) through the organisation of various events and itinerant actions, always in connection with the plate (catering, buffet of the world, cooking classes...). Stamtish is convinced that the table, flavors and cooking are vectors for discussion and exchange, for the discovery of the other and the unknown, and thus for the fight against discrimination. Indeed, raising awareness among the general public about migration and the environment is an important part of the project and a sine qua non condition for the long-term inclusion of these audiences in the territory. Stamtish is also a local springboard at the Refugee Food Festival, which is held annually in June in Strasbourg and in several cities around the world and which gives rise to collaborations between restaurateurs and refugee cooks.
