The development and sustainability of a participatory food cooperative and the establishment of the Coopalim Sustainable Food Pole is a participatory food cooperative that aims to offer quality food, respectful of producers, by an organisation where the members take charge of the essential of the organisation. After receiving support from the ESF for the support of the first employees and the first phase of its development, the association will take a new step, based on the following aspects: — the consolidation of its organisation and the strengthening of its functioning which requires an important work of training and coordination of volunteers – the evolution towards a cooperative structure – the completion of a new stage of its development with the search for a new larger and more adapted premises – the creation of a Sustainable Food Pole creating synergies with close organisations. These projects involve the need of permanent employees to coordinate teams, lead projects, build the stages of development (financial, legal, organisational, search for premises...) and develop partnerships. ESF funding will allow this start-up, which will lead us to take a decisive step.
