Ceyrat is engaged in a project of green casting, a structuring axis crossing N/O-S/E over nearly 5 Km, which bears the name of via BoisCeyrat because it will connect the two historical village hearts of the commune, Boisséjour and Ceyrat. Dedicated to soft mobility, the via BoisCeyrat will design a green frame preserving ecological continuity and will combine pedestrian paths, bike paths, sports areas, games or relaxation. In the long run, the objective is to connect it to the metropolitan scheme of cycle paths (2018-2028) and to promote the link with the tracks identified as “soft paths” of neighbouring municipalities. The ERDF operation concerns the requalification of two unused and heavily degraded areas of nature in this green casting project: Ceyrat Park with the realisation of a feasibility study and the Saint Martin Park with the realisation of demolition works and landscaping. The landscape requalification of these two spaces is a prerequisite for the greenway project.
