Clean Processes for Energy Storage and Environment (PRESERVE)

Preserve is an interdisciplinary project that brings together six laboratories in the field of energy, materials, earth system and space with a common objective to find strategies to develop more efficient processes and respond to regional socio-economic challenges, particularly in terms of sustainable development and energy transition, and the depollution of water and soil. In this context, this project will lead to the emergence of alternative technologies to advance in terms of energy transition (with the objectives of achieving carbon neutrality in 2050 in the Centre-Val de Loire Region), and in favour of the fight against pollution (water, air, soil) which has become a major challenge. In this regard, PRESERVE relies on the expertise and know-how of partner laboratories in the development of clean processes for the preparation of new materials, as well as the demonstration of their efficiency in energy generation (heat and H2), storage (electrochemical and gas energy carriers of the future) and the environment (air, water and soil pollution).
