An ever-increasing number of actors in the forest and tourism sectors are interested in insect biodiversity as an essential part of the functioning of ecosystems, their services to our society, and as an integral part of a natural heritage to be preserved. The InFoBioS project aims to meet a demand for services and advice commensurate with the challenges of tomorrow’s forestry and heritage tourism and Nature. This offer will be based on the study of the role of insect biodiversity within forest ecosystems, their potential for the regulation of pest and invasive species, and their interest in the valorisation of co-products from forestry.
