The city of Saint-Dizier launched 16 years ago an Urban Renewal Project (PRU) on the priority district of Vert-Bois. The profound transformations have led to a real requalification of the public space, a renovation of the housing stock and a general improvement of the living environment of this sector. However, some spaces still need to be rehabilitated, in order to consolidate and finalise the renovation of the Vert-Bois district. In its perspective of requalification of its urban spaces, the City is now carrying out the project to develop Gustave Eiffel Street, a proximity service located to the east of the Vert-Bois district. Currently, between the Persée and Atalante buildings, an accidental branch line takes place in Gustave Eiffel Street. The City has the desire to resise the road there, in order to make this road crossroads more readable and secure. Thus, thanks to the development of the viaire frame envisaged rue Gustave Eiffel, the City aspires to: —continue the clarification of government and management skills, particularly between the City and the OPH, with a land distribution based on the logic and evidence of public space; —making this service more accessible; — offer a secure layout to users.
