In the early 2000s, the City of Saint-Dizier embarked on a policy of urban renewal of the priority district of Vert-Bois. This was initiated by the removal of ex RN4 and continued with the construction of new housing on a human scale. The profound transformations have led to a real requalification of the public space, a renovation of the housing stock and a general improvement of the living environment of this sector. However, some areas still need to be rehabilitated, in order to consolidate and finalise the renovation of the Vert-Bois and allow its good integration with the rest of the communal territory, especially in terms of the viaire frame. The City now wishes to begin the transformation of one of the major axes of the district, through the requalification of Henri Dunant Boulevard. A real strategic issue in terms of residential services, the development will make the linear more readable and promote soft paths. The present operation concerns construction management assistance, ancillary costs, the execution of works related to the VRD and the green spaces of the boulevard and its networks, with the aim of transforming it into a residential lane conducive to the pedestrian/bike walk, favouring soft traffic, in a “stree-garden” spirit.
