In the early 2000s, the City of Saint-Dizier embarked on a policy of urban renewal of the priority district of Vert-Bois. This was initiated by the removal of ex RN4 and continued with the construction of new housing on a human scale. The profound transformations have led to a real requalification of the public space, a renovation of the housing stock and a general improvement of the living environment of this sector. However, some spaces still need to be rehabilitated, in order to consolidate and finalise the renovation of the Vert-Bois. With a view to reclassifying its public spaces, the City is now planning to develop the green casting, located between the buildings Tramontane, Alizé and Bise, south-east of the Vert-Bois district. The space was freed from an old old plot and 64 garages as well as related parking lots. In line with the developments carried out by the OPH at the feet of the buildings in this area (green joints parks, plantations), a PMR pedestrian link will take place, in a green environment. The approach is in line with the reforestation project, which will be the subject of a forthcoming request for financial support.
