The eco-touristic enhancement of the Saint Lucia estate, property of the Conservatoire du littoral, consists of developing the entire built heritage and restoring the natural spaces, for the reception of the public. The purpose of this operation is to: — Safeguard and enhance the architectural, historical and cultural heritage of the estate, – To develop the eco-touristic potential of the territory of Narbon in support of nature tourism. This project is part of the eco-touristic strategy of the Narbonnaise Regional Natural Park in the Mediterranean and the Grand Narbonne as well as an exemplarity approach to the restoration of built heritage vis-à-vis the ecological transition. The second phase of the project, which is the object of this operation, aims more specifically at the creation of indoor and outdoor spaces for the public to: — A day stop by offering spaces of relaxation and light museography, – A night stop “type refuge” with the possibility for guests to eat. Through the requalification of the paths of the Regional Nature Reserve of Saint Lucia, this equipment, which will welcome hikers on foot, bike, equestrian, river tourism, etc... during the summer, will be qualitative and sober in terms of energy consumption, in the spirit of a nature reserve.
