The project aims to acquire and install equipment on the main platforms of the BioCampus Montpellier Research Support Unit. The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of these platforms. This support will facilitate the realisation of research projects, led by the entire user scientific community, allowing, in the long term, to develop new diagnostic tools for a wide range of human pathologies. It will facilitate the implementation of specific models of these pathologies and the identification of suitable molecules or therapeutic approaches. In particular, these equipment will all be used as part of a large project, covering all the laboratories in the field of Biology and Health, and which should allow research teams to have experimental models, cell cultures and model species, even more adapted to the study of human pathologies. Finally, the realisation of the project will be accompanied by an increase in local skills using tissue engineering, know-how that can in turn generate products and services in the private sector.
