The Bio Agri Energies project is an energy transition project via methanisation led by 8 farmers that has a production of 330Nm3/h of biomethane. They all live within a 10 km radius of the project location at Cottenchy (80440). These farmers have varied profiles, 3 of them have livestock farms and 5 of the cereal farms. The project is driven by the common desire to create a collective agricultural project that allows for territorial emulsion; contribute to greening agriculture through this energy transition project; to significantly reduce the use of chemical fertilisers and to perpetuate our farms through the development of new complementary professions. Anxious to communicate on the subject, we signed the charter “concertation and dialogue around methanisation projects in Hauts de France”, and organised several meetings with citizens. It is in this objective that the SAS Bio Agri Energies was created in November 2018 with the project the creation of a methanisation unit valuing “biomethane” injected on the GRDF network.
