The subject of this multidisciplinary project is the modelling of the dynamics of red blood cells in the circulatory system in the presence of Covid-19. Attention will be focused on red blood cell morphologies and related properties that can be modified in the presence of Covid-19, leading to crises whose physical mechanisms remain poorly understood. The aim is to provide clear explanations of how Covid-19 bypasses the membrane defenses of a red blood cell to penetrate it, and to explain post-Covid-19 symptoms, in particular to identify explanatory factors, supported by mathematical and physical justifications for clinical findings and observations.
