Creation of bike facilities RESEAU EXPRESS VELO – REV

Toulouse Métropole is committed to a policy for the development of the practice of soft mobility for daily commuting, reinforced in the context of the health crisis and the Air Energy Climate Plan. Thus, as part of the implementation of the “bike plan” aimed at developing the network of soft mobility at the level of metropolitan territory, the creation of cycle routes of the type REV (Réseau Express Vélo) is planned for the purpose of modal postponement. It is a bicycle network with a high level of service combining continuous and secure routes as well as a high level of comfort for users. The operation is therefore part of this desire to develop secure routes linked to urban soft mobility within the framework of the REV and therefore to secure travel by strengthening the continuity of routes. The three developments concerned by the operation are located in Toulouse (between Avenue de l’Europe and the roundabout Guillaumat; between the road of Agde and the metro Balma Gramont) and Cugnaux (Avenue Léo Lagrange).
