Quet 31 s is part of the federation dynamic of the Occitan community in the field of quantum technologies. This community brings together leading academic actors in the fields of engineering, communications, sensors and quantum simulations. It also involves private actors such as Airbus, IBM, Thales Aliena Space, CNES, ATOS, TimeLink Microsystems, IRT Saint-Exupery, and CERFACS. Strengthening regional experimental platforms and platforms has two main objectives. The first aims to strengthen knowledge sharing, in order to consolidate the excellence of regional activities, particularly in the field of photonic technologies for quantum communications, simulation and computation. Such an ambition requires bringing together the forces involved around shared issues, in order to support high-level research in the field and create an effective chain of knowledge between academic actors but also between academic actors and industrial partners. The second objective will be to strengthen the transfer of research and support the development pathways. The collective ambition of the project qut 34 and qut 31 will be to accelerate this process. This will involve initiating partnerships between academics and industry to speed up transfer processes to industry, but also by raising awareness among academic actors about patent filing and supporting valuation projects.
