Walkways and greenways in the park of the Innovation Campus

The Toulouse Aerospace eco-neighborhood is part of the Ecocité/City of Tomorrow approach and is committed to Toulouse Métropole’s 2018-2023 Climate Plan. His ambition: create a resilient city that adapts to future climate change and encourages active mobility. The project to develop the park of the Campus d’Innovation, concerted in 2020 with the users of the site, meets these ambitions. It offers a large public space in hollows to recover rainwater in case of heavy rains and avoid flooding. In order to facilitate the service of buildings, located around this park, cycles and pedestrians, two walkways are carried out. These walkways, connected to generous paths (green roads), themselves connected to the metropolis’ cycling network, must encourage the use of the bike for the users of the site. In addition, in order to ensure that these cycling facilities are used throughout the year and at any time, a public lighting project is associated with their realisation allowing the safe use of the bike.
