The Coastal Conservatory aims to restore the Jarry swamp forest and open it to the public. The overall project covers two components (studies and works). This project concerns only studies. (The work component will be the subject of a second ERDF request for the next operational programme). To do this, we must first carry out the studies allowing us to have a current inventory of the wetland in order to identify the ecological and physico-chemical status of the site, to define the most appropriate management recommendations, as well as the restoration and development work that can be carried out. The operation takes into account 5 actions: — Measurement of the quantitative and qualitative status of the water and sediments of the Jarry swamp forest and its mangrove – Ecological diagnosis of the Jarry swamp forest and its mangrove – Work Master Assistance: Landscape study, development of a site development scenario (establishment of the coastal path and heritage discovery operation), – Communication and awareness-raising related to the project – Development of an operational management plan
