To date, the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de la Guadeloupe has only one interventional radiology room without ROBOT. The unique nature of this installation poses several limitations: — The absence of a fallback solution in the event of a breakdown of our installation (situation lived 09 June 2019). — Limited access to thrombectomy for stroke-affected Guadeloupeans. In order to address these issues, the most relevant solution is: — The installation of a second multi-purpose intervention room, open to all medical specialties, not just cardiology. This is why the C.H.U.G is seeking European funds to acquire an interventional imaging robot and update the first intervention room. In addition, the objectives of the operation are: — Management directly in Guadeloupe and within a period of less than 03H00, of all patients with stroke. — Strengthening patients’ equal opportunities in terms of access to care. Indeed, if two patients using interventional surgery present themselves simultaneously to the C.H.U.G, we will be able to treat them both without having to deliberately choose who can be saved and who cannot be saved.
