Project for the planning of works on works of art on the NR network as part of the recovery plan 2021-2023

Project for the planning of works on works of art on the NR network as part of the 2021-2023 recovery plan. Faced with the various natural hazards (cyclones, floods and earthquakes), road bridges are subject to climatic conditions that can be extreme in Guadeloupe. In order to ensure the safety of the population, the programme allows the rehabilitation of the structures and their structural viability over time. The main actions presented are the rehabilitation or replacement of the following works: Bamboo Bridge, Malo Bridge, Petrelluzi Canal Bridge, Goin Bridge, Grand Camp Canal Bridge, Val de l’Orge Bridge, Pont Fond Mouzyne, Borine ravine Bridge, RN5-RD125 Angling Bridge and Falaise Canal Bridge. The programme for the rehabilitation of works of art on the RN network aims to bring the structures to seismic standards and their hydraulic resising if necessary. This work thus directly contributes to reducing risks in the event of earthquakes or extreme climatic phenomena. The objectives are: — Ensure the safety of the population, – Ensure the integrity of the structures – Ensure structural sustainability over time – Ensure route safety vis-à-vis seismic hazard The expected results are: — Reduction of risks to the population in the event of earthquakes – Decreased risk of flooding
