In the midst of the COVID pandemic, the CHU of Guadeloupe is a major player in response to this health crisis. In this context, the 2 scanners of its technical platform are mainly dedicated to the diagnostic monitoring of COVID cases, undermining the pediatric and gynecological diagnostic sector. This situation is further amplified by the absence of maternity since the fire experienced by the CHU of Guadeloupe in September 2018. As such, the institution wants to recreate a Pediatric/Gynecological sector that has a limited relationship with the COVID patient circuit. Thus an antenna dedicated to Pediatrics/Gynecology was opened on the site of Palais Royal, it is the Pole Parent Child. As a result, the hospital has requested European funds to acquire an autonomous technical platform dedicated to children, consisting of: — 1 Medical Imaging Scanner – Update of the intervention room 1 This operation will allow better care for the newborn and the mother, as well as the reduction of social inequalities.
