Guadeloupe airport is equipped with 5 boarding bridges, these SOVAM bridges were installed at the opening of the airport, i.e., more than 20 years ago, and their lifetime is exceeded. Given the obsolescence of this equipment, the maintenance service has to deal with many malfunctions because the spare parts needed for maintenance are unavailable. Today, this outdated fifth gateway poses risks to the safety of users, is unsuitable for new types of aircraft and therefore needs to be replaced. The aim of this operation is therefore to provide, the five wide-carrier stations in contact with the terminal, modern gateways with the latest technologies, particularly in terms of thermal insulation, 400 hertz equipment, but especially adapted to the new types of aircraft that currently use our platform as well as those that will serve our destination in the coming years.
