The law refounding the school n°2013-595 of 8 July 2013 transferred competences in the field of digital education to local authorities. As such, the Territorial Authority of Martinique is now in charge of hardware and software infrastructures, including the acquisition and maintenance of equipment (fixed and mobile computers, servers, THD equipment), the implementation of educational and school life management software such as the Digital Workspace (ENT). Today, the generalisation of digital technology is disrupting many areas in everyday life. The school does not escape this movement. Also to prepare students for this reality, revealed even more by the health crisis, and in order to respond to the many challenges related to the evolution of the pedagogical uses of digital technology, and to the security of access and data, the CTM wishes to deploy a range of services for the secondary education community. This choice of educational digital, which participates in the fight against early school leaving aims in particular to propose modern working conditions, responding to current pedagogical challenges and thus contributing to promoting learning at the service of students’ success and their integration into digital society. This operation is in response to the pedagogical continuity of secondary school students, particularly following the health crisis.
