The vacuum network of the city of Fort de France has about 60 underfloor manoeuvring rooms to automate. The automation of these chambers is necessitated by the need to overcome constraints related to the operation of the “Gandillon” network: intervention in the middle of traffic, numerous manipulations of valves, parking of vehicles on the pads of the gaze, weight of the pads of the gaze, inundated looks. At this stage, about twenty manoeuvring chambers are automated. As part of a multi-annual programming of this work, it is planned to automate an additional 32 during 2018 or about 87 % of the fleet.
