SAINT-JOSEPH/LAMENTIN INTERCONNECTION: SECURING THE DRINKING WATER SUPPLY OF THE BELEME BRANCH FROM THE DURAND PLANT

The supply of drinking water to some districts of the municipality of Lamentin is very difficult. Indeed, these areas dependent exclusively on a supply by the South Space via the Belème network are underserved and experience recurring cuts that can be very long. The reservoirs supplying this area are the last to fill in the chain and this very difficult due to the topography of the terrain and a lack of pressure. This operation consists of creating an interconnection on the CACEM networks between Saint-Joseph and Lamentin to be able to supply these areas in case of difficulty. To this end, Odyssi launched an adapted procedure consultation on securing the drinking water supply of the Belem branch from the Durand plant. This includes: — A firm tranche: Installation of drinking water supply between the Durand plant network and the Belem branch, – An optional slice 1: Jambette L Etang Interconnection – Durand, – An optional tranche 2: Interconnection between the supply pipeline from Durand cast iron DN400 and the Bois Neuf Fonte DN100 pipeline, – An optional slice 3: Interconnection between the supply line from SEAILLES and the Manioc cross reservoir in Fonte DN200, – an optional 4: Diversion of drinking water supply in Fonte DN 350 on Balleu Road.
