Restoration of the ecological continuity of twelve hydraulic structures on the tributaries of the Canche

The Artois-Picardie Water Agency, pursuant to Law 2010-788 of 12 July 2010, may provide assistance to owners who so wish; this assistance may extend to the management of delegated project management, studies and works. This operation concerns the restoration of ecological continuity at the right of twelve works on the Canche basin, located on the tributaries of the Bimoise, the Créquoise, the Race and the Ternoise. The development solution chosen by the owners and validated by a prefectural order or in the course of regulatory instruction consists of the removal of the dam or threshold with the reconstitution of a river bed. The total cost presented is EUR 2 141 511,75, of which EUR 2 042 511,75 is eligible. The Pas-de-Calais department intervenes on the Créquy threshold of EUR 42500, which is fully included in the ERDF base. The proposed ERDF grant is EUR 1033715, a rate of 50.61 %. The Agence de l’Eau Artois-Picardie therefore provides 47.31 % of self-financing, covering the minimum self-financing due on the work of Huby-Saint-Leu. At the end of this operation, the expected change is to increase the ecological functionality of the Canche watershed by 32.5 hectares.
