UPGRADING OF DREDGING SEDIMENTS IN ROAD APPLICATIONS AND HEAVY-DUTY CAR PARKS

Through the project called SEDILOURD, the Institut Mines Télécom Nord Europe (IMT-Nord-Europe) Through the project called SEDILOURD, the IMT school wishes to study and experiment the co-valorisation of dredging sediments and waste deconstruction of construction works in Road Technology on different applications (road, parking and industrial platforms for heavy goods vehicles); This is in partnership with JEAN-LEFEBVRE NORD (effective collaboration) and within the framework of the Sédimaterials approach. The objective of the SEDILOURD project is to demonstrate the technical, environmental and economic feasibility of recovering marine and river dredging sediments (non-hazardous), in co-valorisation with construction deconstruction waste (building work and road milling), in the manufacture of road materials and concretes for roads and infrastructure. The materials and concrete produced, according to the formulations previously defined in the laboratory, will be used and tested under real conditions of use through the realisation, instrumentation and monitoring of experimental works on scale 1 of road type, car parks and work platforms for heavy-duty vehicles; directed in the White Stones ZA in Denain (59)
