The Sols Analysis Laboratory of INRAE, located in Arras, is now housed in a building that has changed little since its construction while the activities have changed: conceived as an agronomic station as it existed during the 1970s, the LAS became the only soil analysis laboratory for INRAE research teams. The analyses carried out by the establishment concern the assessment of soil fertility, soil pollution and the assessment of the impact of recycling in agriculture. From a regional point of view, the LAS d’Arras is a unique analytical platform in France whose work is part of a twofold aspect: • The development of methods and analytical capacities for the good knowledge of the quality of soils and the preservation of their qualities in the long term, • Its skills are also mobilised in the Region around the environmental issues of monitoring polluted sites, protection of resources A project to build a new building was launched in 2016. If the schedule is met, this new real estate project will be delivered at the end of 2021. This ERDF dossier consists of subsidising the facilities and equipment of the research laboratories that are planned for this new building located near ADRIANOR.
