Run by the Association France Handicap (former Association des Paralysés de France), the IEM Christian Dabbadie is a medico-social institution that welcomes, in semi-boarding or boarding schools, 183 children, adolescents and young adults with motor disabilities. 18 places are also available for polydisabled or multi-disabled young people. The project aims to support young people under the age of 30, far from the labour market and training, in the determination of their professional project and their entry into the labour market via, inter alia, apprenticeships. Indeed, the determination of a professional project, the development of skills is complex for a young person and is more so for a young person with a disability. Indeed, the latter must be able to try in several professions in order to test his fatigability, his motor skills, his cognitive abilities in the face of the requested missions. However, the pre-vocational training offered in the ordinary course is rarely adapted to the world of disability. Generally less qualified, the unemployment rate of the disabled person is well above the national average. The project follows on from the ESF/YEI co-financing and coordination mechanism for pre-vocational projects of NEET young people with disabilities (DAPP) (July 2016-December 2017) and the "Pre-professional scheme for 16-25 years of age with disabilities
