The occupations of production sites represent a major part of the employment of the health sector. Of the 32000 jobs in the regional nutrition and health sector, 12500 jobs are in production sites in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. It is therefore necessary to continue to train these jobs, in order to keep this asset of our region competitive both nationally and internationally. However, we observe that the occupations of the production sites of the health and nutrition sector in the region are particularly tense, and regional companies have for several years expressed their need to have in the region a technical platform of training allowing a job situation. In order to provide a response, Eurasanté launched a project in 2017 for the construction of a school plant (delivery of the building planned for mid 2024) but its timetable was disrupted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 health crisis due to a very sharp increase in demand that our regional production sites cannot cope with without trained labour. The project we are carrying out today will open in 2022 a temporary factory school site in order to provide a rapid response supporting manufacturers to deal with the urgency of the situation, while creating jobs throughout the territory.
