The Region and Bpifrance, sharing the difficulty of financing VSEs/SMEs, are setting up a free ERDF guarantee. Entrepreneurs can benefit from this when applying for a loan from their bank. The latter pays no commission to mobilise this guarantee and postpones this benefit to the company. The fund can make it possible to release bank credits or moderate personal security rights that address the concerns of business leaders and their spouses. It makes it easier for VSEs/SMEs to access bank loans on projects of: — start-up or takeover of a business; — reinforcement of treasury. A loan dedicated to innovative SMEs to strengthen their cash flow and prepare a fundraiser will also be deployed: the ERDF primer loan is a complement to equity tools by allowing a cash bridge for the company to continue to grow pending its opening of capital. While they are riskier, loans to VSEs/SMEs are decisive in terms of creating or safeguarding jobs. With this new scheme, the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region and Bpifrance are simplifying the access of small and medium-sized enterprises to Europe’s financial support. European funding is thus injected more quickly into the territorial economy.
