Created in 1986, the Conservatory of Natural Spaces of Burgundy manages natural sites and contributes to the preservation and enhancement of the biodiversity and natural heritage of Burgundy. The management action carried out by the Conservatoire is based on the analysis of the heritage of the sites from an ecological point of view (management plan). It is regularly evaluated through monitoring of the quality of habitats and species. This material constitutes a foundation of knowledge of the regional natural heritage. As a matter of principle, and through its membership of the SINP, the Conservatoire publicly communicates its data, exports data to its partners and raises public awareness of the heritage of Burgundy ecological capital.
