Dijon Métropole continues the requalification and pedestrianisation of the city centre of Dijon, the regional capital of Burgundy-Franche-Comté, by completing the ecological and natural corridor linking the Arquebuse Garden to the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin, through the development of the Rue du Faubourg Raines. This operation is part of the construction, co-financed by the ERDF, of the bridge linking the multimodal pole of avenue Albert 1er, at the exit of Dijon station, the Arquebuse Garden, and the development of the Rue du Jardin des Plantes for which financial support from Europe has also been requested. The planned developments will promote the development of gentle modes of travel, while strengthening the urban identity of the regional capital and meeting the objectives of improving the attractiveness of the Dijon metropolis, combating global warming, developing biodiversity and reducing air pollution.
