With the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the intensification of its circulation, the entire Mosellan population has been affected. From a simple pathology requiring only isolation to avoid transmission of the virus to hospital admissions requiring the deployment of particularly complex care protocols, the situation has turned into a health crisis with the explosion of cases, the overflow of emergency and intensive care services. In the face of this dramatic situation, it was necessary to resort to patient transfers to other regions and even abroad, relying on the support of border partners. It is in this context that SDIS 57, as a player in human and territorial solidarity, has had to acquire multiple facilities to ensure the continuity of services intended for the people it is responsible for, and to guarantee the safety of the citizens of Moselle.
