The crisis induced by the COVID-19 pandemic has required rapid adaptations of caregivers and non-care workers throughout the territory. The necessary protection of healthcare teams, patients, and populations against an unknown pathogen required urgent implementation of care protocols for which training, adaptation and coordination of the personnel involved was required. Within the Grand Est region, the project “GESTION DE CRISE, MANAGEMENT OF RISKS AND PREVENTION” will involve the training of caregivers in communication techniques that make it possible to use positive positions, avoid negative attitudes and words in order to better communicate with the patient and promote adherence to care, an act or treatment. Beyond that, health professionals in the region will be trained to understand the mechanisms that govern “fake news” and the management of an opposing patient. Specific training courses on hygiene control and knowledge of the barrier measures to be put in place during the care of patients with infectious diseases, essential elements for professional health practice, will also be offered. Finally, in times of pandemic, the number of teleconsultations increased sharply. It is therefore essential to train health students and health professionals in this form of medical exercise.
