The coronavirus pandemic that has been affecting our country for more than 2 years and, as a result, the health system, has accentuated the fragility of our hospitals, which for many of them were already in difficulty, for two main reasons: 1. the deterioration of the health care workforce; 2. their financial situation. The Ségur plan aims both to improve the remuneration of healthcare professionals – in particular to make these professions attractive within the hospital – to reduce the debt of certain establishments and to boost investment. This 10-year plan is one of the pillars of the recovery plan. Nevertheless, this approach deserves to be completed and the Hôpital du Futur Grand Est (HdF GE) project proposes an unprecedented action to respond to the urgency of the hospital’s professionals to refocus on their core business, to see the level of hardship of certain tasks decrease and make the professions in the field of health again attractive. HDF GE – which is part of Act 2 of the Grand Est Business Act desired jointly by the Grand Est Region and the State – aims to implement transformational pathways to be deployed in 6 health facilities in the Grand East, to diagnose and experiment with innovations to improve the working conditions of health professionals, through organisational, technological, digital and robotic advances.
