Development of a V50 veloroute website

The bike route “l Échappée bleu, Moselle Saône à Vélo”, inscribed in the National Bike Scheme under the number V50, connects the Luxembourg border with Lyon along a route of more than 700 km following the Moselle Valley, the Canal des Vosges and the Saône Valley. From a cycling roaming point of view, the cycle route provides a structuring mesh on a north-south axis from highly emitting pools of practitioners (Benelux, Germany, Switzerland) by crossing EuroVelo 5, 6 and 17, or emblematic national routes such as the Tour de Bourgogne à Vélo. Along the Moselle, the Saône and the Canal des Vosges, the veloroute is part of an offer of mobility and leisure fluvesters, where all the activities practiced around the waterways are represented. It is primarily built on the old tow paths, thus characterising itself as a highly qualitative route, particularly because of the very majority of site reserved for soft mobility, the level of practice accessible to the greatest number thanks to the low elevation, a very rich environmental, heritage and cultural environment. Based on this observation, the communities have committed themselves to the development and enhancement of sections of the bicycle road. To complete this offer, it was necessary to set up a well-functioning website for local users, excursionists and cyclists.
