In terms of Research and Innovation (RI) in Health, the Nancean Hospitalo-Universitaire (HU) site has major assets, listed in the top 10 sites of excellence: dynamic clinical research, a reference CHRU, a powerful fabric of technological platforms and services, well-trained talents, a dense network of engineering schools etc. However, the reality of the field requires that these actors often remain in silo, due to the lack of suitable infrastructures. This leads to a loss of opportunity for the territory as an innovation site in comparison with other sites that stand out by an extremely dense networking of all the players in the healthcare RI sector. This networking of stakeholders and the ability to leverage their respective assets are key success factors. C is the objective of the IRIS project which aims to make the CHRU of Nancy and globally the HU site a hub of RI in health by creating a powerful and visible ecosystem and by boosting synergies between the different actors in this sector. Thus, the IRIS project is both an architectural project of grouping, structuring, connection and interface between technological platforms and actors in the site sector, and also a mechanism for stimulating synergies across the entire innovation chain from the clinical or scientific idea of the researcher to the transfer of technology.
