The European Metropolis of Lille aims to meet the aspirations of all users by facilitating travel in a high-quality public space, while promoting the sustainable development and outreach of our territory, in accordance with the objectives of the mobility plan which aims to strive towards sustainable mobility throughout the metropolitan area in terms of public transport uses. Passenger information is a powerful lever for the attractiveness of the public transport network, including the bus surface network. The project will equip all buses in the Ilévia network with on-board software and equipment to manage passenger information and facilitate the operation of the network (through technological improvements for bus drivers, PC bus operators and field staff), thus facilitating and securing the use of public transport in the network.
