The Rivergaz methanisation project is led by the simplified share company (SAS) Rivergaz, which will be more than 46000 tonnes of waste that will be digested by the methanisation facility. This waste consists of the vast majority of animal wastes (silver and manure), supplemented by a small portion of straw and agri-food fats. The biogas produced by the digestion of waste will be purified to be injected into the natural gas network, with an expected average flow rate of 182 Nm3/h. Thus about 15 GWh of biomethane will be produced per year.
