With nearly 842000 passengers in 2017, and 83 trains a day in autumn 2017, the station of Clisson, located in Nantes’ peri-urban, is experiencing a growing dynamism and is today the 2nd TER station of the Pays de la Loire. The project is located within the Clisson railway station, located on a railway node serving the line to Cholet to the east, as well as La Roche Sur Yon/Les Sables d’Olonne and Nantes to the west. It is a multimodal trading hub serving the vineyard. This ERDF grant application submitted by SNCF GARES CONNEXIONS concerns the installation of a secure bicycle shelter and the refurbishment of the passenger building at Clisson station. The main works of the project include the safe bicycle shelter, the equipment (standby furniture) of the passenger building, the directional signage at the station, the refurbishment of the passenger building.
