Alter Incub Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes aims to support nearly 50 socially innovative projects each year, to move them from idea to project, through two sequences: a pre-incubation phase of 6 months, to validate the feasibility of the project, and a 12-month incubation phase, to build the entrepreneurial project in all its forms (economic, technical, financial, organizational). A comprehensive support programme mixing individual follow-up, collective accompaniment and mobilisation of external experts aims to overcome the barriers linked to the innovative nature of incubated projects. To this end, the four Alter Incub staff members benefit from the support of the AGF SCOP Entreprises team, the premises in Vaulx-en-Velin (69), Beaumont (63), and Grenoble (38), as well as its network of 20 antennas across the region. Through its membership in the national network of social innovation incubators, Alter Incub Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes also benefits from the sharing of experiences and the pooling of resources. Thus Alter Incub Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes contributes at the same time to the decompartmentalisation between social and traditional economy, between social and technological innovation. The incubator also participates in the development of a sustainable economy in the territory of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, by the creation of about ten structures per year, representing nearly twenty jobs.
