The IDEFICS project aims to strengthen the MUST “digital platform” and to open it more broadly to businesses. Must is a platform of the Savoie Mont Blanc University (USMB) and the CNRS hosted and operated by the LAPP (Laboratoire d’Annecy de Physique des Particles, UMR of USMB and CNRS) which combines: (I) high-technology computing resources; (II) the technical skills of its operations, user support and IT experts team of two USMB laboratories, LAPP and LISTIC; (III) means dedicated to experimentation; (IV) training capabilities; (V) excellence in the scientific fields concerned by the researchers who lead it. In our nearest territory (the Pays de Savoie), the USMB Foundation, which has participated in our recent successes, will help us maintain our relationships with the ecosystem of SMEs and local industries and will play a role of intermediary and dissemination of IDEFICS objectives to companies. The participation of the CIMES and MINALOGIC/EASYTECH competitiveness clusters, as well as representatives of many regional companies in the strategic management of the platform are planned. ERDF assistance will allow us to move on to the “Phase 2” of our project, which consists of consolidating the action of the platform to support companies in their “digital transition”.
