CAP/EMP Investments AP 2020

CEA LITEN intends to support the development of the French PEMFC sector. It proposes to set up in the AURA region a centre of excellence in the development of hydrogen technologies including the PEMFC proton exchange membrane fuel cell. The platform will be dedicated to the development and characterisation of PEMFC materials, components and systems. The AURA Region is very supportive of this development and strongly supports its deployment. The MEP/CAP investment project focuses on two main themes: L a system oriented to Fuel Cells in order to respond to an industrial scale deployment in the next 5 years, and the other geared towards components for Fuel Cells to develop the new generation of PEMFCs with a 10-year maturity. This equipment will strengthen the regional ecosystem in order to make the AURA region a global benchmark for the development of Fuel Cell solutions. For the fuel cell systems theme, the investments concern a set of equipment needed to carry out qualification tests (performance and durability) of high-powered fuel cells systems. For the materials and components theme, the investments concern equipment for the development of processes for the realisation of printed components, complemented by characterisation equipment.
