Reyssouze Energie Services has been entrusted by ASSURC (free trade union association) with the management and operation of the heating network located in the Grande Reyssouze – Terre des fleurs district (priority districts of the city’s policy) in Bourg-en-Bresse. The project foresees the construction of a new 4.4 MW wood boiler plant instead of the existing cogeneration, which will allow 81 % coverage of Renewable Energies or Recovery on the grid from 2023 (wood-energy and therefore low environmental impact), and will reduce the price of heat for the users of this district by 20 % on average. Provision is also made for the modernisation and extension of the heating network which is not the subject of this dossier.
