The COVID-19 health crisis and the first lockdown period disrupted the organisations and activities of the Cantal County Council. While a first emergency response was implemented in 2020 to maintain public services, the fact remains that the community was not prepared for the near total digitisation of its activities. Thus, deep reflections on the functioning of the departmental administration, the organisation of services and the continuity of public service in crisis situations have been conducted. Thus, the Department will allow all departmental staff to telework with adequate equipment to ensure quality of service and IT security. The digitalisation of the Department also requires taking into account new uses – videoconferencing, electronic signatures... — which tend to become generalised.
